Taking part
On most Sundays our children and young people join with us for the first part of the 10:30am service. They are encouraged to take an active part in services by reading, singing, and sometimes taking the collection before going to their own groups. Some sporting activities are on the go in our Sports Hall after the groups finish.

All-age Sunday afternoons
These are held on the second Sunday of each month at 3:30pm. These services are for anyone of any age, for individuals and for families, where we explore our faith in a relaxed way. Activities, music, praise and worship are followed by tea.  Everyone is welcome to join us.

King’s Kids’ Corner
An area in the Sanctuary where under-3s and their parents and carers can be comfortable during the service with books and quiet activities.
Outside the Sanctuary, in our Welcome Hall, is another child-friendly area for the more active ones. The service is relayed to a loudspeaker so adults need not miss out.

Safeguarding
Groups for children and young people are led by people trained to be Junior Church/Youth leaders and the groups always have two adults present. St Paul’s actively follows the principles of the Safeguarding Policy of the Methodist Church. All leaders and helpers have undergone training in Safeguarding and Child Protection, and have been DBS checked. DBS checks are renewed at the appropriate intervals. See the full policy here.
